The JEE Main 2020 Admit Card date of the release will be notified today, August 15, 2020 by National Testing Agency, NTA. On the official site of JEE Main at jeemain.nta.nic.in, the admit card once released would be available. At different centres across the country, the examination will be conducted from September 1 to 6, 2020.
According to the official notice, 15 days before the conduct of the exam the candidates can go on the official website of NTA and JEE Main, where hall tickets would be available for the students. The hall number and centre of examination will be displayed on the exam hall tickets.
In two shifts the JEE Main Exam 2020 would be conducted- first shift and second shift. From 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, the first shift would be conducted and from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm the second shift would be conducted . The time duration of each shift will be 3 hours. A computer-based test will be held for the candidates and the subjects which will be included are Physics, Chemistry, General Aptitude, and Mathematics.
As per the marking scheme, candidate gets 4 marks for each correct answer and for every incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted for MCQs and 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer for a numeric value.
Earlier, JEE Main 2020 examination was suppose to be held from July 18 to July 23, 2020. Due to the increasing number of cases of COVID19 in the country, the scheduled examination got postponed by the Ministry of Education . The possibility of release of JEE Main Admit Card 2020 is likely today, however, students can check the official site for any kind of updates.
