JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) administration has announced in a press release that the date of registration for JNUEE (Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination) and CEEB (Combined Biotechnology Entrance Exam) exams have been extended. Previously the last date to register for the examinations was 15th April. The JNUSU (Jawaharlal Nehru University Student’s Union) and ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) showed concern and requested the administration to extend the date of exam registration because the students found difficulty to register due to some technical glitches.

The Office of Director had on 15th April extended the date and now the students can register for JNUEE and CEEB till 18th April, 2019. The time for fee payment has also been extended and the last date for fee payment is 19th April, 2019.

According to the release till 15th April, 87,950 students have submitted their application forms and paid the fee for JNUEE 2019-20. This is the record number of applications received for JNUEE as compared to previous years and still more are expected to apply as the deadline has been extended.

The entrance examinations being conducted by JNU are from 27th-31st May, 2019. The admit card is available from 10th May, 2019.

Candidates can apply upto maximum of three fields of study of their choices through a single examination of JNUEE. This year the entrance exterminations of JNU are being conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency), which take overs the exam procedure with Computer Based Entrance Test.

NTA is a specialised agency created by the MHRD, Government of India and has great expertise in conducting entrance examinations at the national level through their excellent mechanisms and very high standards.
