Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has declared its 12th results. The students can now log onto their official website and view the result 2020. Check on jkbose.ac.in to view the results.

Pass percentage in 2020

As per the media reports, around 77% of the students have cleared the JKBOSE Jammu/Summer zone exams.

A total of 26,139 students passed the exams where 33,779 students appeared for the exam.

This year the students from the government schools have performed better. The performance has increased from 55.70% to 73% this year.

The private schools too have attained a better pass percentage. They have attained 85% this year, rising from 73.07% last year. They have shown an increase of 11.93%.

Toppers

Around 26 students from government schools have secured top positions in Science. The first place is grabbed by 3 students from government schools and 2 from private schools. The second place is also secured by a government school student. 9 students are in the top 10 rank holders in the arts stream. 7 students are in the top 10 rank holders list in the home science stream.

Just as following the trend, the girls have outshined the boys. They have outperformed in all the three streams- arts, commerce, and science streams. The pass percentage for the girls is 82% while the boys pass percentage is 73%.

As usual, girls have outshined boys in this exam too just like most of the exams. The girls have performed better in all three streams, including – arts, commerce, and science streams.
