For students studying in class 10th and 12th, Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, JKBOSE has released the criteria for the mass promotion of Private candidates. Due to the pandemic the exams got delayed, previously the Secondary School and Higher Secondary Annual and Bi-Annual exams were supposed to be scheduled in March 2020.

In the division that has been scheduled to take place in the second quarter of September 2020,  JKBOSE has made an announcement that the students of class 12 can appear for improvement exam.Students can check out the detailed criteria below.

JKBOSE stated that the students of Class 10th who had registered themselves for private exam and have already passed two or more subjects, as a one-time relaxation they shall be promoted to Class 11.

The board stated that such the students who fall under this criteria successfully, as per the said formula they shall be provided admission in Class 11  in relaxation of the mandatory 66 per cent attendance.

On the average of four subjects the students has appeared in,the marks provided to students in the fifth subject would be awarded based.  On the other hand, the marks for the fourth subject would be totally based on the average of three subjects. In case the candidate passed two subjects, to the calculation of the third subject marks the same formula shall be applicable.
