As informed by Dy CM Dr Ashwathnarayan C.N from next month for UG and PG students the government of Karnataka is mulling to re-open colleges . Keeping in mind the safety of students and teachers the decision on this issue would be taken.  Currently, the students are having their online classes .

Narayan stated that “From the month of November, the government is preparing to start the offline graduate classes. After discussing with Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and other officials concerned shortly a decision will be taken” .

He said in a long time now since the conditions have been quite uncertain,  for undergraduate and postgraduate students a final decision on when to start the regular courses would be taken shortly. He also added to the information that for re-opening schools and colleges the guidelines were already issued by the Centre and accordingly preparations were to begin.

He said that we are looking forward to the safety of teachers as well as students. Hence we need to be very careful and keep all aspects in mind while making a decision.

After attending the centenary convocation of the Mysore University Narayan talked to the reporters. The Deputy Chief Minister said that he was happy on the success of online classes and the entire team of teachers, students as well as parents deserve appreciation.
