The Department of Preuniversity Education, Karnatka has finally declared the results of board exams or pre university I exam. The students need to log on to result.bspucpa.com to get results online, and have to provide their registration number and date of birth.
S Suresh Kumar, Primary and secondary Education Minister has stated that the results of the first year Pre-University Examinations will be announced on May 5. The results would be sent directly to students. Hence, colleges will not be displaying the results. The pre-university course of PUC is a course of two year including class 11 and class 12 called PUC I and PUC II. It is based on PUC score that candidates can use to get admissions in various universities.
After the pandemic, the board exam results have been put on halt due to the nation-wide lockdown. As of May 3, the number of people who have been infected by the coronavirus in India has crossed over 40,000.
The HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had a meeting where he asked the state ad central boards to start with the process of evaluationto curb any further delay in the academic cycle. Due to the coronavirus, the academic cycle has been delayed by over a month. Now, the colleges will start in the month of September instead of July.
