Karnataka SSLC result 2020 : Six students score 100% in 10th exams, KSEEB beams with pride

Today, i.e on August 10,2020, ,Karnataka SSLC Results 2020 have been declared on karresults.nic.in. In comparison to the previous year this year as many as six students have scored a 100 per cent in their 10th exams. In the last year year, only 2 students could achieve this score successfully. After the results were announced, KSEEB stated that, “The board owns the pride of conducting the exams successfully and wishes congratulations for clearing the exams”.

Even amid pandemic, the Board of Karnataka was among the few Boards who has conducted the exams successfully . In comparison to the last year,  the pass percentage had dropped but the Board is happy that number of students who have scored full marks that is 625/625 in their Boards has increased.

In its official statement board has stated that, “It was a challenging job not only for students but also for the government and board to conduct exams amid pandemic. Apart from maintaining the sanctity and confidentiality of exams, winning the confidence of parents and ensuring the health of students was a challenge.”

Last year, the pass percentage recorded was was 73.70 and this year it is 71.80 % . One of the main plus point in this year’s results is that most students have scored a 100/100 in their third language exam. In one subject, more than 21000 students have scored full marks and in this year exam’s a total of 43,661 answer sheets were given full marks.

In comparison to 66.41 percent boys, this year the girls  have outperformed the boys with 77.74 % passing the exam.From unaided schools, this time around 82.31 % of students have delivered results while the government schools lowered their pass [ercentage to 72.79 %. It has been a surprise this year that the students from rural areas have scored better marks in comparison to the  urban students with the former who are having the pass percentage of 77.18% while the latter registered only 74.41%.
