The Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical and Pharmacy Courses (KEAM) Exam 2019 dates have been rescheduled due to its dates clashing with the General Elections 2019. The scheduled date for the exam was April 23, 2019, which was scheduled to be conducted in 14 districts centers in Delhi, Mumbai, Kerala, and Dubai. The formal notification for the rescheduled dates will be released soon.
The Entrance Exam which was conducted to provide admissions to engineering programs has its dates clashed with the date of elections in Kerala. The parents have expressed their concern over a traffic jam on the election day making difficult for students to reach the examination center on time.
Speaking of this, an official from CEE said, “The engineering exam clashes with polls. Thus, the exam will be rescheduled and notification with new dates will be released soon.”
The Examination pattern involves 120 questions to be answered in two-and-half-hour. Every right question reward one marks and every wrong answer deducts one marks.
Earlier, the KEAM exam used to be conducted for providing admission to both medical and engineering courses, now it has been changed to only engineering courses.
Now, admission to medical and allied health science courses will be provided through NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test).
