Kerala organises ‘Science Learning Seminar’ to inspire youth

The Educational and Informational Technology industries of Kerala have come up with an initiative to inspire the youth in Science learning. It is to be achieved by curating a one-day Seminar ‘Science Education in the Digital Era.’

The seminar is named Talentspire, which is organised by a group of education professionals and will be held in Thiruvananthapuram city of Kerala on 17th May, 2019 at Hotel Mascot.

Prof. Achutshankar S. Nair, Head, Department of Computational Biology and Biometrics, University of Kerala will be moderator of the discussion.

The major people, who are to participate in the Seminar are- Former ISRO Chairmen G. Madhavan Nair and K.Kasturirangan and Scientific Advisor to the Chief Minister M.C Dattan. Other participants include leading educationalists, technologists, and scientists from leading institutions in Kerala.

One of the most notable presence will be of a 16-year old Samay Godika. He is an India born, U.S citizen, who has won ‘Breakthrough Junior Challenge’ 2019 for his video on Circadian Rhythms, which are physical, mental and behavioral changes that follow a daily cycle.
