Management Aptitude Test or MAT is conducted every year by All India Management Association (AIMA), is one of the most popular exams in our country. There are more than 600 B-Schools that accept MAT score. Management Aptitude Test is conducted 4 times a year in the months of February, May, September, and December.
The exam is conducted for a total of 200 marks but MAT score is obtained as a composite for 800. The score is achieved by normalization of the actual marks, to neutralize the variation in the difficulty level of the MAT Test Papers conducted in multiple sessions. Final admission is based on the performance in GD. PI and relevant work experience.
MAT exam syllabus comprises five segments: Indian and Global Environment, Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence, and Critical Reasoning. Competitors require an exhaustive grasp of intelligent and logical thinking, verbal capacity, information translation, quant, arithmetic, and social mindfulness. The test has two hundred questions from these 5 different areas and the maximum time allotted for the test is 150 minutes.
