The National Law School Admission Council (LSAC) has extended the registration window for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) 2021. The extended deadline for registration is till 16 May and unrolled aspirants can now register themselves for the exam till this date.

The students who were unable to apply due to several reasons have been provided with an additional 48 hours window to sign up themselves. The council decided to extend the application date due to the uncertainty in exam schedule of Class 12 CBSE board exams.

The exam itself has been postponed and will now be held on May 29. The exam is planned to be conducted via online remote-proctored mode. This will ensure that aspiring law college students can complete their admission procedure without interruption and complete safety.

Currently, A total of 30 top Law colleges in India have added the scores of LSAT as a part of their admission criteria. This makes necessary for every Law aspirant to qualify in LSAT for taking admission in one of this colleges.

The LSAC Vice-President, Yusuf Abdul-kareem regarding the decision said that “We felt very strongly that regardless of the extraordinary circumstances caused by the COVID emergency, students needed a path to continue their law school application process. The fact that we are able to deliver the LSAT—India in an online, remotely proctored format, enables students to continue their journey and for law schools to maintain continuity in the admission process for the start of the academic year.”

The students can register themselves on the website discoverlaw.in. One has to click on the LSAT 2021 link and enter their login credentials in order to fill the examination form. Once the form is filled with every necessary details, the student has to upload required documents and Pay the examination fees for successful registration.
