Madras University Final Year Exams 2020 is about to begin. On the official site of Madras University at unom.ac.in, for undergraduate courses the varsity has released the hall tickets . In the state from September 21 to September 30, 2020 the examinations would be conducted. This year, for the candidates final year exams would be conducted online.
Against the usual 180 minutes, the university has cut down the duration of the exam for the candidates to 90 minutes . The pattern of the question paper pattern will be similar to the previous semester. According to the instruction issued by the university, this year students shall bed provided with more choices in each section in order to complete the exam before 90 minutes.
Under the University, all the colleges which are affiliated need to upload the question papers, which needs to be downloaded by the students, on the portal. With their mobile or laptop camera switched on students will have to write the exam. As soon as the students complete the paper, for the process of evaluation a copy of the answer sheet needs to be uploaded.
Students can use the nearby internet centers or can send the answer sheets through the post, if the candidates fail to upload the answer sheets from their homes.
Thomas Amirtham who is the Loyal College Principal stated that the college has planned to start exams either on September 21 to 23. “Currently, the concerned authority is in the process of scheduling the exams. The varsity has decided that there will not be any change in the pattern of the question. As there has been reduction in duration, students will be provided with more choices and answerless questions.”
Through mobile cameras and students, the faculty members of the colleges will keep an eye on the monitor of the students. While giving exams candidate needs to keep their cameras on for the test.
By October 14 the test results shall be out and the same would be uploaded from October 16 to 23.
