Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared class 12th or intermediate or HSC result 2019. The students can check the result on the official website mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in. The results are available from May 28th, 1:00 pm.

The highest pass percentage has been reported as 87.88% from Pune city. Mumbai city has been listed 4th with total pass percentage of 83.85%. The girls outshine boys in Mumbai with passing percentage of 88.04% and boys scored 80.10%.

Toppers

Science: Gaurav Goel from Pace Junior College, Andheri, Mumbai scored 97.38% in. Gaurav has got admission to Harvard for an undergraduate course in Mathematics. He said, “It is my favourite subject. Pure Sciences is not given its due importance and not explored in the engineering stream. I plan to go into academics.

Commerce: Anisha Vaishampayan from RA Poddar College, Mumbai scored 97.23% with 100 marks in accounts. She was reported as saying to the Indian Express, “In class 10th, I stood second in the CBSE board examination. Having changed my board in junior college I was skeptical if I will score high marks as the state board is not known to be liberal with marks.”

This year nearly 14 lakh students appeared for the exam and out of them approx 12.21 lakh students passed. Maharashtra HSC examination 2019 was held between February 21st and March 20th.
