    MDAV High school Chandigarh was established in the year 1972 by the followers of  Arya Samaj and Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, the founder of Arya Samaj. This is an English medium and co-educational school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The motto of M D A V High school Chandigarh is “TO BRING OUT THE BEST IN EACH CHILD” i.e. there is talent in each and every child and the teachers just need to find it and this motto is fully implemented here.
