The Ministry of Human Resource Development has declared the first-ever examination date for Annual Refresher Programme In Teaching (ARPIT), conducted by National Testing Agency, for which the courses were announced by the Govt. last year for online development of 15 lakh higher education faculty using the MOOCs platform SWAYAM.
For ARPIT’s course to be implemented in institutes, 75 discipline-specific institutions were identified and considered as National Resource Centres (NRCs) and instructing them to prepare online training material focussing on latest developments in the discipline, new & emerging trends, pedagogical improvements and methodologies for transacting revised curriculum.
The important dates for ARPIT course exam are as follows:

Commencement of Online Registration for Exam: February 16, 2019
Last date to register for the exam: February 22, 2019
Issuing of hall tickets for the exam: March 9, 2019
Exam day: March 30, 2019
The announcement of the result: April 2, 2019
