On Wednesday the Ministry of Home Affairs reported that the suspended board exams will be commencing soon. This decision has been taken by the central authority on the requisition of several state governments and CBSE to host the remaining exams as soon as possible.

Ajay Bhalla, Home Secretary said that this decision was taken to favor the students across the nation. Also, they have received a report that the students have started to lose interest in the exams and enjoy the comfortable practices at home. The Home Minister too broadcasted in a tweet that this decision will come into action upon all the safety measures taking into consideration.

As of now, the opening of schools has not yet been reviewed as per pandemic reports. But the center has given permission to conduct the suspended exams with safety measures like social distancing, wearing a mask, compulsory sanitation, thermal scanning, etc.

Many states such as Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Goa have withheld the exams since mid-March. Also among these states, people of Goa will be the first to write the 10th board. This order has been granted by the Bombay high court after the clarifications from MHA.

With regard to hosting the exams, the order also ensures that no exam shall take place in the affected region. The exams will happen by taking all the safety measures into account. Also, the students will be provided with the transportation facilities to reach the center safely.
