State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will be conducting the MHT CET 2021 re-examination for the candidates who were devoid of appearing for the exams due to heavy rains in the state.

The Higher Education Minister, Uday Samant, And Technical Education have directed the Cell to conduct the exams so that no student shall be deprived of the exam.

The Minister shared the information on his official Twitter handle. On his Twitter handle he wrote, “In view of the situation created due to torrential rains in the state, the CET examinations of MHCET and other courses will be re-taken for the students who could not appear for the examinations. No student will be deprived of the exam and the concerned students should not worry.”

This will prove a golden opportunity for the candidates who are deserving but due to the torrential rains were unable to reach the examination centers is officially announced by the Higher Education Minister of state.

The left out candidates should keep an eye on the official notices issued by the higher education department regarding the re-conduct of MHCET.

Maha CET 2021 exams for various courses like Engineering, Hotel Management, MBA, LLB, Pharmacy started from September 15 and will continue till October 10.

Earlier, the exam author had also had to postpone the MHT CET 2002 exam at 5 exam centers located in Mumbai which was scheduled to be held on 12th October 2020 due to the city-wide power-outage.

The decision to conduct the re-exam came days after the Minister announced that the appearing for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Engineering, Technology, and Agriculture courses will get another chance to appear in the exam if there is an overlap.

However, the re-exam dates and other further details have not been issued by the Cell yet. The official notice regarding the conduct of the exam, the exam date, and admit card details will be available on the official website in due course of time.
