As the Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE) has not yet released any clarification on the class 12 board exams and the situations due to COVID-19 pandemic does not seem to normalise, the students appearing in exams are left with confusion and anxiety.

With no hope left from the board authorities, the students have began to present there demand using social media directly to the PM of the nation. Students, parents, mentors and teachers have took over twitter by trending #modiji_cancel12thboards, #cancelboardexams2021 and #CancelExamsSaveStudents.

Students demands that Since the government has decided to cancel class 10 exams then why not same is done for class 12? Why exams are kept on hold and why the authorities are unable to make a final call?

Forcing students to sit in exams halls is like risking their lives to this deadly virus. Also, it is a challenge for students to keep preparing for exams with such mental stress and pressure. While parents have to deal with the issue that how their children will reach the exam centre in the middle of lockdown imposed across most of the states.

Ahead of the meeting of union cabinet minister with education secretaries of all states, the students are trying to grab attention of higher government authorities and gain support in there favor.

It was speculated that a final decision can be made in the meeting today but now it has been postponed to 18 May. The CBSE has already clarified that it has not made any decision regarding the exams and the speculations circulated are only rumours.

The nation wide parents association is also trying hard to save the lives of their children. A plea has already been filled in the supreme court demanding the cancellation of exams and evaluation of students on the basis of alternate assessment. A hearing on the case is to be held today in the honourable court.
