MP government announces to offer option for Medicine studies in Hindi

The Medical Education Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Vishwas Sarang on the occasion of National Hindi Day announced that the state government would offer the option of studying medicine in Hindi “in the near future”.

He also discussed the plan of forming a committee as early as possible. The committee will ensure that the course materials of medical education to be prepared in Hindi as well. These announcements were made on the occasion of National Hindi day.

This decision will help the students of Hindi- medium background all over the country to pursue medical studies in their higher education. Such students often face difficulties in complete English curriculum and will get ease in their studies by this aid.

Earlier this month, Mr. Vishwas Sarang had made another important announcement. He said that the lectures on RSS founder KB Hedgewar, Jana Sangh leader Deendayal Upadhyaya, Swami Vivekananda, and B R Ambedkar will be part of the first-year foundation course of MBBS.

These decisions will make a great impact on the acceptance and appreciation of the Hindi language all over the country. Also, it will develop a sense of appreciation for the bright students whose shine was rendered due to the language barrier.

On Monday, Madhya Pradesh’s Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav had announced that first-year students of graduate courses will be offered the ‘Ramcharitmanas’ as an elective subject under the philosophy discipline in the art stream. 

He also stated that this decision is aimed at instilling social and medical ethics in the graduating students and the youth.

This discrete decision of offering an option for medical studies in the Hindi Language is expected to be accepted and appreciated by all the students, educators, and educational institutes of the state.
