The Mumbai University has announced the dates for the upcoming winter examinations that will begin from October 2018. This news brings great relief for under-grad and post-grad students to pre-plan for the upcoming schedule. The schedule will help the college, teachers, and students to plan the academics in accordance with the planned timetable. The University has set the plan of 661 exams this winter, including the first year and second year examination, which are conducted by the college. Some of the University exams including semester V exams for BA and other self-financed exams fall during Diwali vacations.
The examination for semester V of B.COM final year students is all set to commence from October 24th, B.SC students October 30th, and November 13th for B.A students. Other self-financed professional exams such as BAF, BBI, BFM, and others start from November 19. “The university will ensure that there are no clashes with any professional exams this term,” said an official from the examination section. The clash with the Diwali vacation, however, is unavoidable since 2016, after the university started centrally conducting exams for first and second-year students too; added the official.
