The result for the National Defence Academy (NDA) NA (Indian Naval Academy) examination has been declared by the UPSC on its official website – upsc.gov.in. The commission had conducted the examination on April 23, 2017.

In order to get admission into either of the three sections of the NDA — the Army, Navy and Air Force, candidates must qualify the written examinations and the interview round. The examination for NDA NA was conducted at 41 centres.

To check the result, follow these steps:

Step 1:  Go to the UPSC’s official website.

Step 2: Search for ‘Result – National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (I) Examination, 2017’ under the ‘What’s New’ section.

Step 3: Choosing the link for result, you will be directed to a new page. Here, click on the result link.

Step 4: Check your result in the pdf file which will open displaying selected candidates roll number.

Within two weeks of announcement of written result, candidates have to register themselves on the Indian Army recruiting website – joinindianarmy.nic.in. Post the registration, allotted selection centres and dates of SSB interview will be notifies to the candidates on the registered e-mail ID.

For the verification of their age and educational qualification, successful candidates have to submit their original certificates to respective Service Selection Boards (SSBs) during the interview.

UPSC conducts NDA NA examination twice in a year. This examination was carried out this year for 139th course in NDA and 101st course in NA. The courses will begin from January 2, 2018.
