NEET (National-Eligibility-cum-Entrance-Test) 2019 answer key will be released only after the final exam of NEET will be conducted in Odisha and Bengaluru on May 20th, 2019.

The exam in all other regions was conducted on May 5th but due to the wake of Cyclone Fani in the entire state of Odisha on April 26, the exam was postponed. In Bengaluru due to the Hampi train delay, more than 100 of students, who were to attend the exam had crossed the time and were unable to appear in the exam.

The Karnataka Chief Minister had then asked MHRD to re-conduct the exam and the request was approved by Minister Prakash Javedkar.

Vineet Joshi, Director General, NTA stated in conversation with The Indian Express “The answer keys of the exam will be released only after the competitive exam is conducted in Odisha and Bengaluru as well.

The students have the power to counter the first answer key that will be released. The facts raised in the counter questions will be taken into account and the final answer key will be released thereafter on the basis of, which the final result will be declared.

Earlier the answer key was scheduled to be declared by the second week of May, 2019. The final result is to be declared on June 5th this year.

The answer key will be released on the official website, the candidates can check on ntaneet.nic.in or nta.ac.in

NEET

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) is the only national level medical entrance exam. It is conducted by NTA to grant admission to students in various programmes like MBBS, BDS and Ayush courses offered by All India Medical colleges.
