National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 result was declared on June 23 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) qualifying 6,11,539 candidates of 10,90,085. The examination was conducted was conducted in 10 languages in 103 countries.

NEET-UG’17 has been in much controversies, including due to selective vernacular difficulty due to which it was also imposed with a stay order on the result by the Madras High Court. This stay was late lifted by the Supreme Court.

After various reservations, only 15% seats are left for the general category. To top it, the cut-off for the top colleges is estimated to be from 650 marks to 697 marks and the next top four seem to have the cut-off ranging from 605-645.
