With ending the period of uncertainty for students, The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the new dates for JEE Mains 2021 exam by the end of June. The agency may release dates for both the April and May session at same time. Exam for the april session could be most probably held in August, 2021.

The May session exam will be held after a gap of almost 25 days. Although NTA has not issued any clarifications over the dates yet. The Joint Entrance Exams or JEE Mains 2021 was postponed due to the the second wave of COVID-19 infection. But since the situations of pandemic are improving in the country, the NTA is now considering to hold exams.

Similar to JEE Mains, several other national level entrances are on hold since a long time. Exams like NEET UG, CUCET and UPSC were postponed in past couple of months. Dates for all this exams can be expected very soon once NTA makes a final call over the JEE exam. It might be possible that Education Ministry allows the Agency to announce dates for NEET UG 2021 and JEE mains 2021 simultaneously.

The unexpected delay in conduction of exams has raised concerns within experts, teachers and students. This entrance exams decide admissions in professional medical and engineering courses and their late conduct will result in delay of academic sessions in colleges and will directly create pressure on student and teachers.

Now there are no probabilities left for cancellation of JEE Mains exams. Out of the four sessions scheduled for JEE 2021, two of them are already conducted in February and March. So the rest two sessions must be compulsory held to offer a fair opportunity to all students seeking admissions in engineering and technology colleges.

Whatever the updates will be released by the agency, all of them will be published only on the official websites of NTA. Hence students are advised to keep a regular check on this websites in order to avoid spread of any false information among aspirants.
