On March 28 2019, a notice was circulated on social media by the name of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that the Board is going to re-conduct the examinations of Physics and Economics for class 12th. The notice showcased a signature of the former controller of examination, K.K Choudhary. Although, the notice didn’t release any dates and mentioned that CBSE will be releasing it within a week.

However, yesterday on 2nd April, 2019 the Board clarified that the notice is fake and no examinations (either of Physics or Economics) is going to be re-conducted this year. The notification was given by releasing a Public Advisory notice with a signature of current examination controller, Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj.

The notice mentioned:

It is to be noted that, the fake news of the exam re-conduction was in circulation from 5th March, 2019 since, the news of leaked papers of 12th Board exams, 2019 was released. Afterwards, it was too confirmed that the paper leak news is fake.

CBSE has taken the viral fake news issues very actively and had already notified the students in the outset of this year, to beware of any fake news regarding the board examinations.
