The Registration Process for the June Examination of University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), that recently got established by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), began Yesterday March 1, 2019, and will continue to last till March 30, 2019. The UGC NET is conducted for ‘Assistant Professor’ or for ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’.

The NTA will be conducting the examination from June 20 to 28, 2019.

The Examination is scheduled to be conducted in two shift namely morning and afternoon. The Test comprises of two papers to be conducted. According to the notification, Paper 1 will carry 50 questions for 100 marks while Paper 2 will have 100 questions for 200 marks.

All the questions are compulsory to attempt by the candidates. The Examination will be entirely Computer based.

The Registration fee varies for different categories; For General or unreserved category, the fee is set to be  Rs. 800, while other reserved categories such as OBC’s, the fee is set up to be  Rs.400. Also, for the SC/ST/EBS candidates, the fee is set up to be Rs 200.
