Major part of the education has been affected during the COVID. With the online classes, students have been trying their best to cope with the teaching and learnings. As most of the students are facing the issue of having a smartphone they are not able to meet the education needs or learn and study. In the state, since the schools have been closed, the government of  Odisha has taken a decision has come up with an idea to hold “Radio Pathashala”.This would help the government as well as the teachers to teach students of Class 1 to 8 .

To facilitate the continuous learning of students, from September 28, every week from Monday to Friday between 10 am to 10:15 am, on All India Radio this syllabus-based student Educational Programme “Radio Pathashala” is going to be broadcast, says Odisha School Education Program Authority .

Bhupendra S Poonia, who is the State Project Director, Odisha School Education Program Authority has said all District Education Officers, all the District Project Coordinators, as well as the Block Education Officers to intimate all Headmasters and CRCCs to widely disseminate among the students and parents to listen to the programme.

From all Radio Stations at the same time, the Programme will be broadcast. For the students who miss this out they can go to the DIKSHA platform and see it as all the programs will be uploaded later on to this platform.
