The pending English II PU exam was conducted by the Department of Pre-University Education in Karnataka. The exam was conducted with all the safety precautions taking into account. Social distancing was maintained and thermal screening was also performed in all the centers.

All the centers across the state made the necessary arrangements and the state witnessed a total of 5.95 lakh students.

The exams started at 10.15 am and ended at 1.30 pm lasting for 3 hrs and 15 minutes. The centers made face masks compulsory and they have made arrangements for hand sanitizers also.

The principal of SSMRV College tweeted that, “Sanitisers are provided across the campus. Students have been advised to wear masks all throughout. 3-feet distance is maintained between each desk.”

The exams were paused earlier due to COVID 19 pandemic. The new schedule was given based on the meeting held by the Karnataka Minister for Primary and Secondary Education S Suresh Kumar.

The class 10 exam which was supposed to be held from March 27 till April 9, is now scheduled to June 25 and lasts till July 4. This postponement is also the result of the covid pandemic.

The minister in the meeting also mentioned the necessary safety precautions to be taken during the exams.
