Cambridge University, a renowned university of UK has approved to assimilate online learning courses across India.
According to the reports generated by PTI, Pamoja Education, a UK based portal that runs online education leanings across the globe; has received the approval by Cambridge Assessment International Education. Cambridge Assessment International Education is the world’s largest provider of international education programmes and qualifications for 5-19 year old learners.
Pamoja, in its analysis has found that market for online learning in India is currently growing at 20% per year and is estimated to reach a market size of USD 2 Billion and 10 million users by 2021.
The approved education portal will teach the Indian learners, its world-leading IGCSE and international AS and A Level programmes online from September 2019.
The Indian schools able to offer the new courses online will benefit from broader subject offerings, fewer challenges caused by teacher shortages and more flexible time-tables. The students will have greater subject choice, gain practical experience of new digital technologies and have greater flexibility of study.
John Ingram, CEO of Pamoja Education said, “With 10 years of expertise in online learning exclusively for International Baccalaureate programmes, expanding our offering to Cambridge curricula is a natural progression for Pamoja.”
The online learning will be offered by ‘Pamoja Taught’ under Pamoja Education.
Students use the Pamoja taught to access content at any time, interact with Pamoja teachers and join discussions with other students from around the world.
