Centre’s education schemes helped in promoting holistic development of children: Modi

On Tuesday, after the results were announced for civil exam services, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated all the candidates who cleared this prestigious exam. The Prime Minister stated that the successful candidates can look forward and get ready to head on to their new journey.

Narendra Modi, Prime Minister tweeted that “Heartiest Congratulations to all the bright youngsters who have successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination, for the year 2019! An exciting and satisfying career of public service awaits you. My best wishes!”.

He also encouraged all the candidates who could not clear the examination and stated that life brings you opportunities and wish you all the best for the upcoming future endeavours.

His second tweet said that “For those youngsters who did not get the desired result in the Civil Services Examination, 2019, I would like to tell them- life is full of several opportunities. Each and every one of you is hardworking and diligent. Best wishes for all your future endeavours”.

The 2019 Union Public Service Commission had uploaded the results on the official website- upsc.gov.in. By visiting the official website of the commission, candidates can download the UPSC provisional appointment list of candidates who have successfully qualified the 2019  civil services exam.

On the basis of a written examination and personality test which was held by the Union Public Service Commission in September 2019 the list was released. In February- August 2020, the interviews for Personality Test were held.

All the 829 selected candidates who have successfully cleared the examination will be appointed to Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.

Pradeep Singh topped the examination after them we have Jatin Kishore and Pratibha Verma.
