On Friday, Narendra Modi deliberated on the reforms required in the sector of education which includes the National Education Policy.

On Friday, a review meeting of the education sector was conducted where unique emphasis was given on how to use technology in the sector of education. The main objective of the meeting was to find ways to improve the learning outcomes with the help of technology, which includes online classes, educational portal, and class wise broadcast on the channels of dedicated education.

During the lockdown thousands of students have missed out on education even though institutes are providing with digital classes. The meeting also focused on bringing equality in education and offering universal access to the quality of education.

It was also discussed on how to make use of low end technology including the channels of TV, radio, postcasts to reach several students.

To create a vibrant knowledge it was decided to usher in education by ensuring higher quality of education which would make India a “Global Knowledge Super Power”.

For this, it was discussed that how higher education can be reformed and brought at par with the standards of highest global.

Another point of discussion among the PM and the HRD minister was offering education which is effective, inclusive, contemporary and rooted in the Indian culture and ethos.

Overall, the total emphasis was on how to make the education system better by preserving the cultural and linguistic diversity of India. A framework would be made to ensure all 21st century skills are covered as per the statement of government.
