Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute of Archaeology in Noida on Saturday, March 9, 2019. While inaugurating PM Modi said, “The institute will provide modern amenities for research scholars and students from India and all over the world.”
Addressing the event, Prime Minister appreciates the transformation of Noida and the efforts of offering employment opportunities for the youth. He also informed that Noida is being developed as the Make in India hub of the nation and mentioned the presence of various electronic companies in Noida.
He also informed about the construction of the biggest airport in motion in Jewar, in Uttar Pradesh. It will be economically beneficial to Uttar Pradesh.
The Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute of Archaeology is an institute worth Rs. 289 crore spread over 25 acres. The campus has been equipped with the latest technologies.
The Institute will be equipped with an auditorium, open-air theatre, and an Archaeological Museum. The Institute will be running under the Ministry of Culture.
