Princess of Sharjah, Sheikha Hend Bint Faisal Al-Qassemi on Monday claims that Indian higher educational and medical institutions are no less than institutions in any other country. She appreciated that Indians have proudly found a place in the global companies and space agencies like Google and NASA. It was found that 20 to 30% of Google employees belong to India, she adds.

Addressing the children of the Nehru Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, she says, “India is no lesser than any other country in this world in terms of education and the rich environmental resources.”

“I am very proud to say that India also matches high quality in medical and education and I have seen many promising Indian students who are working to develop this country,” she added.

The princess mentions that Indian institutions are developing very rapidly in order to compete with high standards of education globally, also in Sharjah, standards were going high in terms of education and medical care.

She also informed that Sharjah provides free education to top scorers and also adviced that private educational institutions should provide scholarships to those who are held toppers in examinations.

She also claims that every country fights unemployment and poverty, but India has the power to overcome it. She also expressed her concern that looking at the IT industry growing at a rapid pace, it could be the key to overcome poverty in the country.

She also mentioned that like other countries witnessed a reduction in accidental crimes with the installation of CCTV cameras, and suggested India should also install CCTV cameras all over the streets.

She also expressed appreciation and proud to be part of Nehru Group of Institutions and promised to work together for a good cause of imparting education.
