Bharti Foundation, headed under Bharti Enterprises, informed on Monday offering to bear all educational expenses of the children of CRPF Personnel martyred during the Pulwama Terror Attack.

“At this hour of grief, we would like to express our solidarity with the families who have sacrificed their loved ones to make sure we stay safe. This is a heartfelt contribution from us to make sure that the children of these heroes will never have to worry about access to quality education and are able to fulfill their dreams,” said Vijay Chadda, CEO of Bharti Foundation.

A similar offering was reported to be proposed by Reliance Foundation also.

“As a mark of our gratitude to the martyrs, Reliance Foundation expresses its readiness to assume full responsibility for the education and employment of their children and the livelihood of their families. If necessary, our hospital is ready to provide the best possible treatment to the injured jawans. We shall also deem it to be our duty to shoulder any other responsibility the government may place upon us in service to our beloved Armed Forces,” the company said in a press statement.

The Platform which was launched and now is responsible for collecting donations, called ‘Bharat ke Veer’, received by the people for supporting families of CRPF Personnel has received over Rs 7 crore of donations through public funds.
