Punjab cancels all university exams due to Covid-19

Punjab has cancelled the university and other college exams in view of coronavirus pandemic. The Chief Minister Amarinder Singh made an announcement with this regard on Saturday. However, the online exams currently conducted by some universities will continue to take place.

The CM mentioned this in his weekly #AskCaption Facebook live session. He mentioned that the students will be promoted based on the previous year’s results. The students who wish to improve their scores will have the option of taking the fresh exam when the situation is brought under control.

Universities and colleges are working to implement the same. This decision will be announced in the next few days. The CM also mentioned that the state is following the CBSE guidelines for assessing the school students.

Amarinder Singh advised the students to continue their studies in a right path. He said that “You have to continue to work for your future.”
