Summer breaks have been declared by the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. The breaks are from May 4 to June 20. Moreover, online classes would be conducted for the students during these summer break and the faculty of the institute has been asked to complete the entire syllabus.
There are no holidays for the teachers as well, they need to submit potential question ppaers, and evaluated answer sheets as soon as the lockdown gets over.
The university also said that as per the AICTE, students need to go through digital internships. Till June 20 the BTech students for the fourth and sixth semester can take part in the internships, says RTU.
For the students of MBA, the internship has been extended till July 4. It is mandatory for the students of fourth and sixth semester to take 45 days of compulsory internships and for the students of MBA the time duration is of 60 days.
Forming the guidelines for the digital internships, the university in an official notice said that the institute has to ensure that student is going for an industrial training from relevant agencies. There are many companies that are offering online training or internships.
For the second year BTech students have to go through a 15 day compulsory training or any of the internship. The varsity also suggested to have online courses or internships from certified companies and online sites.
