GATE 2022 Exam

The registration process for GATE 2022  without addition of any Late Fee is going to end today, on September 24, 2021. Interested candidates can still apply through the official website- gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) will be organizing the GATE 2022 examinations on February 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2022.

IIT Kharagpur will be hosting the GATE 2022 admit cards on it’s official website before the exams scheduled dates. Students will be required to download their admit cards through the online mode. No admit cards will be sent through post or any other mediums.

Other details regarding GATE 2022

Candidates will be informed about the details like exam center, timing. All other exam related guidelines will be provided through the admit card. Students will be required to carry their admit cards to the exam center along with valid ID proof.

To access the GATE 2022 registration link, candidates have to register at the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS). Only those candidates who will complete the GATE 2022 registration within the last date will be issued.

Visit the GOAPS portal and complete the GATE registration process. Following are the steps to follow for registration-

  • Fill GATE 2022 application form
  • Upload scanned images of requisite documents
  • Pay GATE registration fee
  • Preview of filled application form of GATE 2022
  • Submit the GATE registration 2022

The process of filling GATE application form 2022 includes registration, filling form, uploading documents and payment of application fees for GATE 2022.

About GATE 2022

GATE is conducted to screen the candidates to offer admission into M.E./ M.Tech /PhD at the IITs , NITS , IIITs and CFTIs and also for recruitment in PSUs.

For GATE registration 2022, candidates are required to enter the ID number specified in any one of the following IDs – Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar – UID, College ID, Employee ID and Driving License.

From tomorrow itself late fee will be charged along with the registration fees. GATE 2022 examination late fee for the general candidates is Rs 1500 and with late fee it is Rs 2,000 and for the reserved category students, application fee in regular period is Rs 750 and with late fee it is Rs 1,250.
