The Sahastra Seema Bal (SSB) has released the admit card for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) on their official website. To check, click on the link provided below:

SSB has issued admit cards for the posts of Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector & Head Constable. The PET Admit cards will be issued to only those candidates who qualified previous exams for the 181 posts vacant.

Sahastra Seema Bal will hire 181 posts of SI, ASI, HC through this exam. PET will be conducted in the month of January 2019.

The steps to download Admit card are:

  1.  Visit the official website of SSB at applyssb.com
  2. Click the link that says ‘ admit card for Physical Efficiency Test’.
  3. Enter the registration number, password and captcha code to login to your account.
  4. Now download the admit card, take a printout, and keep it safe for future use.

The Physical Efficiency Test is followed by Physical Standard Test and Documentation on the same day.

On the day of the examination, the admit card is the most important document to carry since an admit card plays the role of your identity at the examination center. An applicant failing to bring the printed copy of the SSB admit card will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

On the day of reporting, a biometric exam will be conducted for the sake of identification of the applicant in the different stages of the recruitment process. Also a photograph, the signature will be taken.

The things that you would need to carry on the day of the exam are:

  • SSB Admit Card
  • Identity proof
  • 10th Passing certificate
  • 12th Passing Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (if available)
  • 2 passport size photographs
  • Blue/Black ballpoint pen

Ensure that you do not carry any notebook, notepad, calculator, diary of any kind.

The Selection procedure is as follows:

Round 1: Physical Efficiency Test

This test is conducted to test your speed and stamina. In order to qualify this round, the following parameters are to be followed:

Round 2: Physical Standard Test (PST): Those candidates who qualify in the PET will have to undergo PST which includes measurement of height, chest, and weight. Candidates failing in the prescribed range will be disqualified.

Round 3: Documentation: A candidate who successfully qualifies PET and PST will have to get their original documents/ certificates verified. If he/she is rejected due to failure in producing valid documents will be disqualified.

Round 4: Written Examination: Once the verification of documents is complete, the qualified candidate will be able to appear for the written examination or skill test.

With these rounds completed, if the candidate is qualified, they will be recruited for either of the posts mentioned vacant.
