Sports management course open in IIT-Rohtak, no need of CAT

The Indian Institute of Management Rohtak has opened its availability of applications for post-graduation in Sports management course. The institute currently runs its third batch of PG in sports management.

Candidates with any degree can apply to this course. Though it recommended having a similar base, nevertheless it has provision for everyone. The registrations are opened till July 20. The registrations can be done at The selection test is based on an aptitude exam followed by a personal interview.

This course is for those who wish to settle a career in the sports field. Many interesting subjects such as sports management, sports marketing management, sports agents, sports talent management, sports analysis, etc. are being taught.

The institute has various collaborations with the abroad universities. Though it has been declared the CAT exam is not needed, the selections will be based on other criteria. The total fees per head expected to come around Rs 7,15,524. Though the scholarships are available, it can only be availed by the students who have participated in Asian or commonwealth games or in Olympics.

The statement issued by the institute said that India is a country with a lot of potential sports talents available. In order to aid those students, the sports management course has come up with various options.
