St. Angela Sophia Sr Sec school is a school for girls. The institution was firstly a Boarding House in 1911, in Ajmer. It was completely for care for Christian orphans. It is named after the Saint Angela of Merici. She was the Saint who think about and also cared for the orphans. Now the institution is known as St. Angela Sophia Sr. Sec. school. So, officially the school started from 1928. St. Angela Sophia School is administered by the Mission Sisters from Ajmer, they have dedicated their lives to God and spend their lives in the service of humanity. This school is one of the links of the Sophia Schools in Rajasthan. It is under the jurisdiction of the Director General / President of Roman Catholic Diocesan Education Society, Ajmer.The institution is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education for all streams as Science, Humanities, and Commerce.
ADMISSION
The terms and conditions followed by St. Angela Sophia Senior Secondary School for admission are mentioned below:
- A girl should have official birth certificate such as municipal/baptism certificate of date of birth at the time of admission.
- A girl who attended any recognized school should have a School Leaving Certificate from the same school.
- If a student studied in Jaipur from classes One to Ten, then admission can not be done.
- In the case of transfer from other district or state admission, the student should give an aptitude test. The decision of the Principal will be final.
- Promotions are granted on the basis of overall performance of the student throughout the year.
The student should be regular.
