The kendriya vidyalaya (K.V.) association has announced summer breaks in the kendriya vidyalaya schools across the country. A revised order has been also released for the same which mentioned summer break from May 3 to June 20, 2021. this is due to the increasing COVID-19 cases in the country. the summer vacations will be applicable in all the schools across India except the schools in cold and extremely cold regions of the country. The teachers are also been instructed to stay at their respective stations for preparing the CBSE 10th results for session 2020-21.
The schools in the regional centers in Leh, Kargil, Ladak, Tawang, Dalhousie, and KV Kathmandu will have summer breaks from June 1 and will be as per the notification released earlier. Teachers at this stations are also instructed to stay at schools in order to complete pending works related to results of class 10.
The notification further states that the leaves entitled to the teachers may be admissible to them for the period of stay at the station for the purpose as per the rules.
Also, The Admissions to Kendriya Vidyalayas remain postponed as the list has not been released. As per the earlier schedule, the list was to be announced on April 30, 2021. The class 9 admission tests have also been cancelled due to the pandemic.
