The ‘Super 30’ Founder Anand Kumar has been invited to India’s Republic Day celebration in New York, United States of America (USA) on 26 January 2020. The function will be arranged by FIA (Federation of Indian Association) of the Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). The function will also coincide with the 50th year of the oldest organization of the NRIs.
Alok Kumar, FIA President on Saturday said, “FIA is also completing 50 years in 2020, we have decided on Anand Kumar after a lot of considerations, the pioneering work he has done in the field of education is a matter of discussion around the world to make every Indian Proud.”
“Super 30 movie was very famous in America and people have watched it great interest. People are really interested in meeting him and we are really happy he has given his consent to be at the Republic Day Function,” he added.
Super 30 is a program founded by Mathematician Anand Kumar, in which, every year he trains and teaches 30 students from underprivileged backgrounds to crack the IIT entrance test.
Meanwhile, the Tripura government announces the ‘Super 30’ Educational Scheme for Medical and Engineering Students.
