The Telangana government has cancelled their supplementary exams due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic. The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has given their decision with this regard. These exams act as a second chance to those students who have failed in one or two subjects. As per the official statement released by the Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, those appeared in the second year Telangana intermediate exams will be passed without an exam.

Also, those who have passed the exam through this decision, their mark sheet will be listed as “completed the compartmentalization”. As much as 1.47 lakh students will be benefitted from this decision. The minister said that the marks memo is scheduled to issue after July 31 in the respective colleges. In addition to that, the results for those students applying for re-counting and re-verification of marks will be given within 10 days.

Those students who are not satisfied with their marks, can apply for re-evaluation. The fee per paper is kept at Rs 100 for recounting and Rs 600 per paper for re-verification cum scanned answer scripts.

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education has started to issue Online Degree services, Telangana (Dost) for those students who have cleared TS inter exams. Students who wish to join the state-based colleges can apply in the official website- dost.cgg.gov.in

Around 9.95 lakh students had appeared for the TS inter 2020 in both first and second year. A total of 69% of the students have passed the TS Inter second year exam or class 12 exam.
