TiE Delhi-NCR is set to host the 6th Annual India Education Entrepreneurship Day on August 30, 2019.

IEED is a conference that gives you a practical experience and opens your mind to a host of ideas and opportunities.

The Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, at the Union Budget 2019-2020, announced the target of making India a $5 trillion economy by 2025.

The main aim is of driving the country’s growth, there is high emphasis upon boosting India’s education and skilling ecosystem. This will further accelerate job creation and put India on the fast-track to greater economic growth.

With an audience of over 300 people, IEED will brings together the brightest minds of the country with ideas focused on a wide range of subjects. It will focus at initiating conversations that matter to the education and skilling sector, and have the power to foster learning and inspiration.

Geetika Dayal, Executive Director of TiE Delhi-NCR, Speaking on the event, said that , The education sector has the potential to steer a country into a prosperous, tech-enabled future. Recognizing its importance, multiple new-age educational startups are settling  across the country. Yet, there is a lack of cohesion in terms of quality and clear business models to sustain in the ever-changing environment.  IEED will give these startups a platform where they can exchange new ideas and gain a wider perspective about the flourishing education sector. We believe that creating an enabling environment for startups in the education sector through this platform will go a long way in preparing them amply for the future.

There will be several presentation by various partner of IEED, like IEEDs knowledge partner, Michael & Susan (Dell Foundation) – India, will present research on ‘Busting myths in the jobs ecosystem’. There will also be a panel discussion on ‘Role of tech platforms in transforming the jobs ecosystem’ that will see participation from key industry speakers like Mukul Singhal – Partner, Pravega VC; Annanya Sarthak – Co-Founder and CEO, Awign; Nimish Sharma – Co-Founder and CEO, WorkEx Solutions; and Rahil Rangwala – Program Director, Michael & Susan Dell Foundation.

Maheshwar Peri – Founder and Chairman, Careers360 will host the keynote panel that will overview the changing education landscape and talk about best practices with regard to policy, regulatory framework and market management.
