UEI Global Education organized its third edition of Le Vitesse 2019, which was conducted for three days, a national sports event and cultural festival, along with thousands of participants. The Participants included students from 9 campuses of UEI Global Education across India namely Agra, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Pune, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, and Trivandrum. The event constituted of a blended version of Indian Culture and tradition with a theme of ‘Unity in Diversity’.

The Event witnessed  2 days of Sports and 1 day Cultural Festival, where total 7 sports were played, including both indoor and outdoor sports such as Cricket, Soccer, Volleyball, Chess, Table Tennis, Badminton, and Athletics. The Cultural Festival included a dance competition, Jam Session and Gala Night representing different states. The winning teams received certificates, trophies, prize money, and medals.

Over 200 students, belonging to Pune Branch participated. Pune Warriors team scored high enough to enter semi-finals of volleyball. They were also observed to have won a cricket match on the second day of commencement and participated in finals further of badminton, cricket, volleyball.

Addressing the event, Chief Guest Mr. Sunil Gupta- CEO of Welcome Heritage Hotels inaugurated the event. He expressed his thoughts on education and industry integration, and also addressed the issue of shortage of skilled manpower in the Hospitality domain. He also appreciated the UEI efforts to skill students with entrepreneurship abilities.

Chief Guest Mr. Sunil Mathur- Ex Oberoi, Sheraton were also present for inauguration event. He informed that he had worked with students throughout his days at Oberoi School of Hotel Management. He also shared his thoughts on the benefits and scope of hotel management in the country. He also shared his experiences during his course of hotel management. He also expressed his views on the beautiful connection between sports and personality development.

The event also witnessed  General – Inderjeet Sawhney, ex-army officer and father of proud son Lt. Harinder Sawhney, ex-director UEI Global. He was pleased to see the enthusiasm among the children and expressed the importance of “Josh with Hosh” to achieve success.

Addressing the students, Manish Khanna, CEO, Said – “Such kind of sports events is very important for the holistic development of the students because this can bring out the enthusiasm, sharing, commitment, team play and inspire for performance and attainment which helps not only in personal space but while progressing in professional achievements. We are glad to showcase on one united platform the varied hues of culture, tradition, and heritage to recreate that oneness of Incredible India. We welcome all the students for being the part of “Le Vitesse 2019”.
