UP board exam would get ‘Bulletproof’ says UP Dy CM Dinesh Sharma

Expert committee to make UP Board exams ‘foolproof’

Uttar Pradesh Board has always been infamous for leaking its examination paper before board exams and cheating. Last year, over 1.8 lakh students didn’t appear on the first day of the examination followed by the copy checking process implemented by the Uttar Pradesh government led by Yogi Adityanath. But now, the UP government has proposed a committee to look over the examination process.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma informed on Sunday that for the execution of UP Board exams they would constitute a three-member committee to improve the process and making it bulletproof to maintain the sanctity of examinations.

Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma said, After several incidents of paper leaking there is a need to stop. The new committee would increase digital evaluation by removing human error through technical solutions. It is high time to make changes in secondary education by providing equal opportunities to all.

He further said they are introducing the co-education system for boys and girls.

UP board curriculum has been lagging after NCERT introduced the 2018 academic session. The UP board syllabus would help in paving the way for job oriented courses like Retail, Security, automobiles and IT.
