The government of Uttar Pradesh, UP would be asking the National Testing Agency, NTA to provide he topper tag to Akansha Singh, resident of Kushinagar who has scored 720 marks that is 100 per cent in NEET Exam 2020. Child Minister Yogi Adityanath said that he would be writing to the testing agency to rank her too as the topper.

The announcement was made the same day when Adityanath met Akanksha to felicitate her. On October 16,2020, the NEET 2020 resuts were released by the National Testing Agency in which Soyeb Aftab and Akansha Singh scored a 100 per cent score. Yet Akansha was ranked 2nd as a tie-breaker rule. She was ranked 2nd as she was younger to Soyeb Aftab.

CM Adityanath stated that the state government would be sponsoring Akansha’s MBBS education, including hostel and mess expenses. After the meeting, he said, “Akanksha, by scoring 720 out of 720 marks, has made her town Kushinagar as well as entire Uttar Pradesh proud. Not only for students of her age… Akanksha is a role model for every girl.”

CM also added to it that “I also wish her to pursue her dreams and work hard to achieve the goals she has set for herself”. Also, a road would be named after her which would be leading to her village.
