The BJP Government leading in Himachal Pradesh, established a bill in the Assembly stating that upcoming medical university should be renamed after Late Former President of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The officials are scheduled to debate over The Himachal Pradesh University of Health Sciences (Amendment) Bill, 2019 at the 68-member house today.
The Himachal Pradesh Government has decided to rename the medical university as Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh, said Health Minister Vipin Parmar, who introduced the bill.
There were other institutes that were launched after the name of the Late Former Prime Minister of India Atala Bihari Vajpayee. Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Schools, affiliated to Maharashtra International Education Board (MIEB), were launched by the Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Maharashtra on the occasion of 94th birth anniversary of the late prime minister.
Also, Uttar Pradesh Government has decided to launch an umbrella university heading medical and dental colleges and nursing institutions in the state. They will be named after the Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
