UPSC EO/AO Exam 2020: Important notice regarding centre change for EPFO exam released on upsc.gov.in

For the UPSC EO/AO Exam 2020, an important notice regarding centre change has been released by Union Public Service Commission, UPSC. The notice released on upsc.gov.in states that all those who have registered for the UPSC EPFO examination can request for change in the centres selected earlier. From December 15, 2020, the change would be permitted on first apply first slot basis and window would open .

Candidates who have applied for the examination may note that new centres would be made available for candidates. The centre change options would be available in two phases – Phase 1 would open from December 15 and close on December 21, 2020. From December 29, the second phase would begin and on January 4, 2020 it would close .

For a change in centre, candidates would be allowed to apply and can subject their revised choices. The requests for the change would be considered against the available capacities at the existing centres as well as the new centres. This would be strictly on ‘first apply, first allot’ basis and once the capacity of a particular centre is filled, the centre would then be frozen.

UPSC Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer or EO/AO examination for EPFO recruitment is scheduled to be conducted on May 9, 2021. The examination schedule was revised due to the pandemic and a new schedule was released. Following the same, many representations were received by the UPSC in regards the centre change.
