US Embassy has collaborated with Y-Axis Foundation of India to initiate a pilot project for the students seeking to pursue education in Unites States of America. Under this project an app will be launched, which will provide right advisory to the Indian candidates looking for universities/institutes in USA.

Karl Adam, Deputy Cultural Affairs Officer, US Ambassy said, “US has over 4700 institutions of higher education and each university is different. The advisory, through the app would be given in the best interest of the students. It will also inform students about scholarships available to them.”

“Every year we see more and more Indians choosing to go to the US for higher education. Almost 2 lakh students attended US universities last year.”

The app will not be filling out the applications for the students but will only assist them with the right advice to choose the best institutions for them according to their pursuance. The students will get the right information as well as ignorance from the scam and fraudulent portals through this app.
